Robert Stack began his 25 year career in the home construction industry. He was continuously drawn though to the kitchen design aspect of the industry - undoubtedly the most beautiful aspect of home construction. Robert temporarily left to pursue mechanical engineering. Kitchen designing never left Robert and he did return to kitchen design utilizing his engineering skills while satisfying his creative and organizational nature. Robert began working for a full service kitchen and bath company until starting his own kitchen company Niagara Kitchen and Bath.

Robert opened Niagara Kitchen and Bath designing, building and installing new kitchens. More and more though, Robert began noticing that most people were actually satisfied with their kitchen layout and didn’t need their kitchens torn out and replaced. Most customers only needed to replace their old, tired-looking cabinet doors. Robert could see that his business was going into a different direction, thus, the inception of Kitchen Refacers. Kitchen Refacers is a thriving business with customers who are thrilled to be spending half their money on refaced cabinets while still achieving that “brand new kitchen” look.

Kitchen Refacing and Remodeling
Kitchen remodeling can be both exciting yet intimidating. There are many aspects to consider and sometimes ones that you may not be aware of. This is where your Remodeling Specialist knowledge comes in to make sense of things like door styles, space maximization and accessories. With Kitchen Refacers this is all explained to you with your budget in mind. Kitchen remodeling on a small or grand scale always offers you 100% return on your investment.

First Steps and Things to Consider
To determine how much extra storage you may need, first do some simple decluttering. Get rid of any kitchen appliances or gadgets you don’t use regularly. This will help you and your Kitchen Refacing Specialist determine, from what you have left, the wonderful accessories (like roll-out drawers for pots and pans to lid organizers) that are available to help make your life so much easier. Purchasing a few Kitchen Specialty magazines can also spark ideas and give you kitchen design tips as well as kitchen cabinet design ideas that you may want to discuss with your Kitchen Refacing Specialist.

When to Reface
When considering your new kitchen ask yourself these questions:
  • How long do you plan on staying at your house? This will help determine how much to invest.
  • How old is your house?
  • Are new appliances being added into kitchen layout?
  • Is there more then one cook?
  • Is there room for a kitchen island
  • Is there room for a pantry
  • How do you use your kitchen now? Do you need a kitchen office?
  • What kinds of activities take place in your kitchen?
  • Are your kitchen requirements going to change in the next three to eight years?
  • What kinds of financial, design, or aesthetic tradeoffs are you willing to make?
  • How much of the work are you able to do yourself.
What is your budget?
Your kitchen remodeling estimate is going to be set by how much you can afford and the value of your home. Kitchen remodeling costs can range from $2,000.00 to $6,000.00. This would be a mid-range cost for remodeling your kitchen.
