Kitchen Remodeling photos
View our library of cabinet refacing pictures.  See before and after kitchen remodeling photos. Each cabinet refacing picture has a description explaining the work completed. New pictures are being uploaded so keep watching for what’s new. All workmanship, in each of the kitchen remodel photos, were completed by the owner. One job at a time, one satisfied customer at a time. These kitchen remodeling projects are not turned over to another crew of subcontractors or hourly employees.
In each kitchen remodeling photo, each kitchen layout is the same. Small changes, such as modifying microwave openings or alterations to fridge cabinet width and height is a minor job, in most cases. Accessorizing cabinets with additional storage devices, such as rollouts, extra cutlery drawers and pots and pans drawers is part of our Kitchen Refacers accessory package.

Islands
Work islands are always on my customers’ want list. Keep in mind, that a sufficient walking space is needed, three to four feet is the general rule.
In our before and after photos, a lot of the islands have been designed to fit the kitchen layout. A kitchen refacing project usually includes rollout and drawer box upgrades.
To give yourself an idea of space and size of your kitchen island, put some boxes on your floor or mask off the area where you would want your island to be installed. Keep the layout for a week and walk around it to have a feel for its size. When we come to visit, you will have already decided on you island size.

Pantries
In our home remodeling pictures, most kitchens built in subdivisions have a standard fridge, stove, and microwave opening. These builder-grade kitchens are now so old that they are being refaced. Customers are also asking for ideas to better you their space by incorporating space-saving devices such as rollouts and pantries. A well-organized pantry will eliminate clutter and reduce time spent searching for items.

Countertops
When selecting a countertop surface here are some features and benefits to consider:

Laminate countertops.  This is an entry level material. Most kitchens are installed with it. Brand names such as Formica, Wilsonart and Pionite, manufacture the laminate surfaces. There are now many surfaces being produced that look like Granite. The Formica line creates a granite-type of surface called the FX180 The Wilsonart company produces its line of granite-like surface called Crystal Series. Other laminates have what we call a matt finish or textured finish. Matt finishes are a lower grade finish. In my opinion, I would start off with the next level of finish which is a textured finish. Textured finishes create less staining issues and wipe ups are easier. Textured surfaces come in two types, a rough finish or a smooth shiny surface.

Engineered Surfaces.  Kitchen Refacers is a distributor of Silestone .Benefits of Silestone are the following:

  • It is stronger than granite.
  • It comes in more than 60 colours.See more.
  • Is naturally scratch, stain and scorch resistant.
  • Is easy to clean,non-porous and never needs sealing.
  • Has a 15-year warranty.

Granite Countertops - Kitchen Refacers offers SenGuard protection.  This treatment makes your countertop easier to care for.  It protects your granite surface from staining, and has a 15-year stain warranty.
