At kitchen refacers we always inform our customers about maintenance, what your warranty covers and does not cover. Fact is we give the right information for you to make the proper purchasing decision.

Thermoform’s thermoplastic products are covered under a 12-year warranty in effect from the date of purchase, against manufacturing defects resulting in delamination. Under this warranty, Thermoform will exclusively replace defective thermoplastic products. Such replacement does not renew or extend the warranty time period. This warranty does not apply to:

- damage due to daily wear and tear.
- damage due to abusive use or improper use or maintenance.
- damage resulting from incorrect installation.
- damage due to accidents or negligence.
- damage due to exposure to excessive heat sources.
- damage resulting from alterations or repairs not conducted by qualified Thermoform personnel.
- This warranty does not cover transportation, installation or labour costs or other costs resulting directly or indirectly from the replacement of defective products, or any damages, detriments or prejudices. Coverage under this warranty may not be extended or prolonged by any distributors, representatives or agents. Products are replaced according to model, profile, finish, dimensions and quantities of original production. Modifications are entirely at Thermoform’s discretion. According to product availability at time of replacement, substitutions may be necessary. (Some colours are discontinued due to demand which we can not control)

Wood Products
The beauty of natural wood does allow for limited amounts of natural characteristics of wood to show in grain and colour variations in the wood panels. Kitchen Refacers will not be liable for any damages caused by improper handling, storage or installation of our product. Kitchen Refacers will not be liable for any costs incurred by the customer for finishing, removal, installation, travel, or labor of any kind, nor any other product used with our products. This warranty covers only the replacement of our product as ordered by the customer, and the shipping charges to and from Kitchen Refacers. Due to the natural expansion and contraction of wood, moulding and laminate surfaces. This includes but is not limited to raised panel doors and drawer fronts. Humidity is a major contributor to your cabinet doors maintaining their origanial shape which effects your door spacing and closing. This we can not control. Homes with wood stoves, furnaces that have no humidifers fall into this catagory. Misuse due to improper cleaning, steam and heat damage also apply.

Laminate Counter Top Surfaces
We warrant our counter tops to be free from defects in workmanship and/or material under normal uses and conditions at time of install and inspection. This warranty does not cover the following.
- Water damage on mitre joints and seams.
- Heat and steam damage.
- Abuse and misuse.
- Improper storage and handling.
- Labour to remove or replace defective parts does apply to counter tops which have been subjected to these damages at seams.
- According to product availability at time of replacement, substitutions may be necessary.
- This warranty does not cover transportation, installation or labour costs or other costs resulting directly or indirectly from the replacement of defective products, or any damages, detriments or prejudices.
